ITINERARY FOR THE JOURNEY OF ASCENSION ACCELERATION

Day 1
Depart in an early flight Lim/Cus, around 6 or 7 AM.
Upon arrival, group will be transfer to the Libertador hotel conveniently situated near the Main Square or Plaza de Armas, rest of the morning to get used and acclimate to the 11,200 ft altitude.
Optional walking on your own through the cobble-stoned streets of Cusco pointing out fascinating Inkan stonework along the way, and visit The Temple of The Sun "Qoricancha" to appreciate the technological wonders of our culture.
Dinner in the hotel or in a nice typical restaurant downtown Cusco.

Day 2
Early in the morning tour to the typical Indian and colorful market of Chinchero, This market offers a wonderful opportunity to buy woven goods, wall hangings, rugs, pottery, and all different other kind of handicrafts, as well as wonderful photographic opportunities. Observe the traditionally dressed campesinos coming to barter and sell their produce in the market.
The market in P’isaq village, on the other hand beside the similar typical market, on Sunday mornings, by 11:00 AM There is a Catholic Mass in the church for the local populace as well as for the "Varayoq" (whom has a "vara", that is, a staff of office) or mayors of peasant communities of the region. Their staffs of office are made in "chonta" (very hard black palm-tree wood) with beaten silver adornments. The mayors' arrivals to the town are announced by their assistants who blow their "pututos" (trumpets made of big conch shells -Strombus galeatus-); those trumpets were inherited from the Inkan Society. What is peculiar in the mass is that as attendants do not know or have a poor command of the Spanish language, so the sermon will be said in the Quechua language.
Visit to the spectacular ruins of P'isaq. Overlooking impressive Inkan terraces, hike the non-tourist trail to the Inkan Temple of the Sun, a doorway to Hanakpacha, the upper Andean world of the Condor, messenger of the Gods.

Day 3:
Early in the morning transfer from the hotel to the Ollantaytambo train station to take the Autovagon (first class train) to Machu Picchu. Arrive to Aguas Calientes, the lively village situated below the nearby Machu Picchu Ruins.
After a brief check-in to your hotel, you will ascend by bus to the sunlit terraces of the historical Inkan center of spiritual and political power. In the morning visit Machu Picchu with your special guide on a tour of the "Lost City of the Inkas." Thereafter there is plenty of time to return in the afternoon as pilgrims for personal meditations, connection to the spirit world, explorations in feminine and masculine energy sites.
Peruvian Magic Journey’s leaders will assist you in deciding which areas you might wish to further explore or hike. There are options for all levels of hikers.
In the evening, the group is invited to participate in a shamanic healing ceremony in the village of Aguas calientes. The healer plays custom-made instruments and crystal bowls to connect deeply to the core essence of Machu Picchu.

- At 9.00 AM will take the bus to go to Machu Picchu and stay as long as people wants.
- At night after 6.00 PM can be arranged shamanic session.

Day 4:
Early in the morning bus to Machu Picchu, hike to Inti Punku for Sunrise and to the Inka Bridge, rest of the day free to explore by your self the Inka city.

Free day to relax, have walks around de village, go to the Hot Springs, etc.

- Arrive to Ollantaytambo train station at 6.15 PM and transfer to the hotel Willka t’ika.

Day 6:
We’ll see magnificent countryside as our bus winds through sandstone cliffs, fertile soil, amazing irrigation terrace systems, and glorious mountains along the Urubamba River to Ollantaytambo, known by the locals as the Sanctuary of the Wind, a sacred place worshiped by the Incas.
After it we’ll go back to Urubamba for lunch or box lunch will be provided, and in the afternoon will continue to travel by bus to the fascinating Inkan Salt mines of Maras.
Sometime during the day, you’ll participate in a special Andean ceremony, an offering to Pachamama-Mother Earth sent for the well-being of the group. The local Qhechua (natives) practice this healing ceremony, which guides you deeper into their traditions and spiritual world.
Coca-leaf readings will be offer at the end of the day.

Day 7:
Early in the morning will travel by bus to the fascinating circles of Moray where you will be led to the lowest level for the Angelic Channeling ceremony.
In our trip back to Cusco we’ll visit some of the small villages all over the highlands of Chinchero over 12,000 ft.

Day 8:
AM Tour to the ruins near by Cusco City to:
Sacsayhuaman fortress, Temple of the Sun, Temple of The Lightning, House of Nobles, is overlooking the city of Cusco. Impressive stonework and structures weighing hundreds of tons will leave you in awe.
How did the ancestors of the Quechua and Inkans build those structures without the use of the wheel and steel implements? You’ll find out the answers...
Quenqo – The Labyrinth, astronomic observatory and temple.
Puca-Pucara a small Tambo or Lodging place, also called Red fortress.
Tambomachay temple to worship water, “Where there is water, there is life.” To the Andean people water is sacred.
At night farewell dinner in a nice typical restaurant, where we’ll enjoy the beautiful Andean music and dances.

Transfer to the airport and flight Cusco/Lima around 11.00 AM. Upon arrival luggage can be store at the airport.
You will take the bus for a city tour for approximately 4 hours or more that includes guided visit to:
Most important areas of Lima, like the typical colonial style section, Plaza de Armas, Cathedral , Archbishop palace, San Francisco church, Art museum, San Isidro and Miraflores new and modern sections of Lima and much more.
After the tour you’ll be transferred back to the airport for your flight back home.

- Transfer to the airport for people returning to Lima at 10.00 AM, flight departs Cusco city at 12.00 Noon.
- City tour starts at 2.00 PM until 6.00 PM aprox. and transfer back to the airport to take the flight back to USA.
First Optional extension, Tour to Puno – Titicaca Lake

Day 9
Transfer from the hotel to take the bus to Puno, in the way some sites will be visited, like Raqchi - Wiracocha Temple, stop at the Vicuña and Alpaca reservations, Sillustani ruins which has Pre-Inca buildings that belonged to the Tiahuanaco culture that developed in Bolivia and also has Inca constructions.
Lunch at a nice restaurant or box lunch, upon arrival transfer to the hotel Taypikala, 30 minutes out of Puno.

Sep/26 Mon Day 10:
Breakfast and bus to take the boat to visit the floating islands of Uros in the highest navigable lake of the world the Ttiticaca Lake. We will continue to visit Taquile Island, this place is an Indian Reservation and people are still living in their millenarian traditions, in the afternoon back to Puno.

AM Visit to The Temple of Fertility , and The Dimensional Door of Aramu Muru, in the afternoon transfer to the airport in Juliaca city (Puno) to take the Flight in to Lima arriving you can connect to your international flight back home.

Pick up from the hotel Posada del Inca, and departure to Paracas City

- Departure to Nazca city, upon arrival transfer to the hotel Cantayo, O'N.
- Departure from the hotel at 4.30 AM and arrive to Nazca at 3.00 PM aprox.
2nd Day A.M. NASCA / LIMA
- Continental Breakfast
- Over flight to the Nazca Lines for approximately 40 minutes.
- Tour to the Chauchilla cemetery.
Return to Lima city in a private car, upon arrival transfer to the hotel Posada del Inca, arriving around 5 PM.
- Transfer from the hotel Posada del Inca to the airport to take the flight back to U.S.
- Departure from the hotel Cantayo between 7.00 and 8.00 AM, depending on the weather conditions to over flight Nazca lines.
- Departure from Nazca back to Lima between 2 .00 to 3 .00 PM arriving to Lima at 7.00 or 8.00 PM, after you pick your luggage up, transfer to the airport to take your flight back to USA.
Important Notice: After the tour to Nazca, you may take the flight from Lima to U.S. or stay one more extra night, if it is so you will have to pay $ 85.00 for the additional night in double occupancy or $ 132.00 in single.
